Swaddling Your Baby
Swaddling is an element that can bring soothing comfort to your baby (which could also translate to a little rest for you!), but it's important to be mindful of a few things and the ways your baby is trying to communicate with you too.
Have you tried to swaddle your baby? What are your hangups and hurdles? I'm here to share my tips and tricks with you, from the perspective of both a NICU nurse and a mama!
Ready to take on Newborn Care with Confidence?
Having worked with families since 2003 in a medical professional role, I've learned quite a bit along the way. From my early days as a Medical Assistant working in primary care pediatrics at Swedish in Seattle, to the Nurse Residency and RN NICU bedside role I had at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville...there's been a lot of wisdom passed down to me by others.
When I became a mother myself in 2014, I thought I was heading into this adventure with a head start, having all of this tucked under my belt. Boy was I humbled! While it did help, I also learned SO much through the experience of mothering itself.
I'm here to lend perspective and share knowledge from both of those realms. In my Online Childbirth Education Course, you will not only learn about preparing for the day of birth, we also spend time in what comes beyond birth. Postpartum, Newborn Care and Breastfeeding are things included too. This element can help you to start your journey knowing your options and leading with confidence.
